Victorian gold gilt cast iron gold cherub oval photo frame. Frame measures 16" X 12 3/8", and weighs 5 lbs. 3 oz. The frame is decorated with cherubs and swirls, has it's original beveled glass. and will hold a 19" X 7 3/4" photo or mirror. There is an approximately 1" X 1/2" spot at the top of the glass where it looks like it was sliced (?) off, but it is on the inside of the glass and can not be felt on the outside, The cast iron stand on the back of the frame will open and stay in place when put on a flat surface, but the stand will separate from the frame when laid down. I show it in the last picture. Something seems to be missing, but it will still stand. I was able to remove two of the screws from the metal backing to the frame, but could not get the other two off. Even with just the two screws removed you could remove the picture of the boy and his dog and replace it with one of yours. There is very light age appropriate loss of gilt to some of the frame. Having pointed all of this out it is still a wonderful useable frame.
