This is the Howard 70 regulator with a 16" dial. Most of these were a 12" dial. They made them up to 24". This clock is in very good condition. The walnut case has some small dings and there is a repair were the hinge mounts to the case, this is only seen from the back. The movement is stamped E. Howard & Co. Boston 70. It is in good running order and is keeping good time. The top glass is old wavy looks original. The bottom tablet looks like the original paint with just a couple chips in the paint. Correct pendulum and bob. The weight is a proper replacement. Nice old finish. These large Howard clocks are getting very hard to find and when you do find one, the prices keep going up. Dates from around 1900. measures 41" tall 20 1/2" wide. Ready to hang on your wall for you to enjoy.
