This is a late 18th century walnut stretcher base tavern table. It is in very good condition. Fantastic turned legs. Pegged construction on the base with hand forged nails on the top. It has one deep drawer with yellow pine secondary wood. May have had bun feet at one time. Two board top is original. This piece is from the Piedmont region of North Carolina.
