The highlight of this Art Deco ring is a 1.49 carat old European cut diamond with VS-2 clarity and K color. The diamond has been certified by the GIA and will come with the certificate. The GIA diamond grading report can be looked up on-line, the number is 1156982878.
The diamond is set in 18K white gold and is held in place by eight prongs in an octagon shaped setting that makes the diamond look even larger. The setting has millegrain around the diamond on top, the shoulder has filigree work in the shape of a heart and the shank is engraved. The ring weighs 3.4 grams.
The ring is currently a size 7 but could be sized up or down.
The ring is pictured on my daughters hand with her wedding band (which is not included) she has a Art Deco engagement ring and found the wedding band at a local jewelry store, so you can get a wedding band to go with this ring.
