DURAND ? "Atomic reactor" style Deco art glass lamp shade. Probably made by Victor Durand's Vineland, NJ Glass House in the late 1920s. The reason it looks a bit like Quezal is, that Durand bought the molds and remaining inventory from Quezal when they closed in 1925. Durand began producing art glass in 1925; until he was killed in a car crash in 1932. This shade is definitely a factory produced shape and most likely for a table torchere style lamp. I have had numerous shades over the years, but this is the first one of these. There is one minute flake at the upper rim. It is 4 inches in height, and has stunning color.
