Hinged bangle bracelet with silver plated wings mounted on a gold plated base. Dates to 1941 when jewelry featuring this motif was part of a "Fashion Takes to Wings" campaign. These were part of a series designs produced by Rice-Weiner under a licensing agreement with McClelland Barclay. Marked Barclay in the familiar Art Deco lettering of this brand on the back of the bracelet. Inner circumference is 7"; measures just under 3/4" wide. There is some minor wear to the gold plating, but this hard to find bangle is in very good condition overall.
