This is a lovely wool plaid coat-style dress ideal for a medium- size bebe. French in origin, I would date it to circa 1900 - 1910. it is lined with a ribbed cotton fabric, trimmed with silk velvet, and closes with hooks and worked loops. It is in great, clean condition, and is ready to wear.

The garment measures 11 1/4" long with a shoulder measurement of 5 1/2" and sleeve length of 5 1/2" (28.5, 14, 14 cm). It is likely well suited for a doll measuring 17 - 18" tall (43 - 48 cm).
