Every Lady needs one! this is a lovely miniature antique sewing chatelaine on a watch-pin to be worn by your most discriminating poupee. The tools include a thimble, scissors and needlecase, along with a wee gold lock. The pin is in the form of a fleur-de-lis, the national symbol of France. The brooch closes with a pin and c-clasp. I am not a jewelry expert, but these items all appear to be gold-filled. As for the tools; the scissors open and close, but the needlecase is fixed closed. There is no key for the lock. The entire set measures 2" (5 cm) long, and the scissors alone are 1" (2.5 cm). As you can see, Mlle. Vivienne (17" tall - 43 cm) approves this chatelaine, and would not be disappointed if the item never sells!
