I recently came across something my customers might want to consider for their dollhouse kitchens. It is a comprehensive set of miniature cookie cutters housed in their own tin box. Of course, it is likely that they were originally meant to be aspic or fruit jelly cutters for fancy Victorian foods, but their shapes and tiny size are ideal for adding authenticity to a variety of kitchen vignettes. Naturally, a small grouping could be selected for a specific kitchen, but there is plenty even for a large collection of houses, and for kitchen vignettes for larger dolls as well!
The outer tin box measures 5 3/4" in diameter. The cutters each measure 11/16" deep with a size range of 1/2" to 1 1/2" in diameter. Most are on the smaller size and come in dozens of well-modeled shapes. I doubt they were ever used. The tin is now showing a lot of overall age-related patina.
