A fine walnut Victorian dining table with two 12 inch leaves. Made around 1860-70. It looks off-center in the photograph because it is. I just have the top sitting on the pedestals I did not align it or fasten it. Everything on the table is as it should be.
Apron is burl walnut. Someone at one time cleaned and recoated the table with lacquer, this is not detrimental to the table or it's value. Table is about 44 inches in diameter and is as purchased from a Virginia estate. Would make a perfect formal room setting or breakfast room table.
These do not come along often. Perfect size for today's homes as many are much larger in this style. I
have looked the table over and find no areas where repair has been done or is needed.
There are no issues or problems with the table it is sound and real. Needs a good waxing an a new home.
