This is a walnut four door bookcase made around 1870. These disassemble easily for transport and are very desirable. It is in estate condition which means it is as it came from the estate from which it was purchased. Normal wear, and needs some minor repair, cleaning by waxing and a home.
The picture was taken at the auction house in Danville, VA. When delivered to us it was apart, and still is, we just have been too busy to assemble.
Condition: 1. It is complete. 2. The wood needs to be waxed. 3. Normal usage wear. 4. I cannot say that the doors swing smooth as it is not together but they will be once delivered.
These need to have minor adjustments when set in place, as they, and all large pieces tend to settle to the floor on which they lived.
Dimensions to follow. 81" wide. 61" tall. 13" deep at top left/right. 15.5" deep at center. 11.75 deep at waist. 14.75 deep at foot. 17.25 deep at center bottom. Across front widths left 24.5, center 28.5, right 24.5.
Priced as shown. If you want anything done to it we can discuss anything beyond assembly and any minor repairing.
