These oak bent arm chairs are a set of 8 from the Heywood Wakefield Co. The label under the seats states Heywood-Wakefield, Buffalo, NY. since the Buffalo warehouse and location was known to be in 1899, we know the chairs are not earlier although I would have stated wrong as they appear of the style and construction to be more akin to 1885/1890. I have heard these referred to as town hall chairs but only once. It is generally accepted that sets of all arm chairs came from some sort of institution, schools, clubs, courts, lodges, and such. Might be true? This style of chair by such a quality company is no exception to the well known fact that these are very very comfortable.

Price is before cleaning and waxing. If you would us to spend 8-16 hours on waxing these we can discuss pricing..

All tight, no breaks.
