This gorgeous sterling silver Art Nouveau Cup was made by the William B. Kerr & Co., Newark, NJ and dates to the 1880 – 1927 period. The ornate top features a ladies’ face with long flowing hair surrounded by flowers. In addition to the sterling silver base and top, it has a beautiful paneled optic glass insert. The bottom is marked with the William B. Kerr & Co. hallmark (a fasces - a single-bit axe with rods bound with straps), “Sterling” and the number “573”. The cup is approximately 2 ¾” tall and 2 ¼” in diameter and is in very nice condition with only very minor surface blemishes consistent with its age and use.
