This is a hard to find, two piece (top and bottom) vintage Ekco, industrial 4 loaf bread pan for baking Moravian or Rehrucken round bread. Each end of the bottom pan is marked “EKCO D-4 Engineered” and “12 EKCO – 63”, and were made by Ekco in the 1950s. The pans are designed to fit together and produce 4 round spiraled loafs of bread. One section has vent holes in the bottom of each rib to allow air to escape as the dough expands. These heavy duty steel pans when together are approximately 23 ½” long, 14 ½” wide and 4 ½” high. The pans are clean and in very good condition.
