This beautiful, authentic Griswold number 9 cast iron skillet cover is marked on the top with “Griswold No. 9, Self Basting Skillet Cover”. The bottom is marked with the Griswold large block logo along with “Patented Sept. 22, 1925. Pat’d. Feb. 10, 1920. Erie PA U.S.A. and 1049 A”. It sits level and has no cracks, repairs, or rust. It is approximately 11 ½” by 2” excluding pour spout covers and the handle. The cover is clean and lightly seasoned with vegetable oil and ready to use, collect or display.
