This is a wonderful hand carved, vintage wooden decoy of a mallard duck. It is in the original un-restored condition as found. It has amber glass eyes and light remnants of the original paint. The decoy has a hollow body for adding weight and a wooden plug for the hole in its breast. The decoy is unsigned and is believed to be from the early 20th century. It is approximately 6 ¼ inches tall and 16 inches long.
