This is a diminutive darling rouge, powder compact. It is probably from the 50s-60s. it is 1.75 inches in diameter. It is a delicate cream with a guilloche white ring with a painted rose in the center. Guilloche is a pattern in the metal which is covered with enamel. The compact opens to reveal a mirror and a little door that opens into the powder compartment. There is still powder in the shallow recess. There is a little hand cut powder puff. The compact is about .25 inches thick. Around the edge is a raised design. There is a little clasp that works very well. The compact is in excellent shape except for a small mark on the back. This is a excellent addition to you collection or beautiful on a vanity or dresser.
