A beautiful 1979 Saxony reproduction vase of a 1725 Meissen vase which is housed in the Smithsonian Institution, by the Lenox china company. It has a creamy white background with a bright floral, bird and insect motif, with touches of 24 kt gold in the flower centers and a wide gold band near the bottom. It is marked on the bottom. It sits on a wooden block with a plaque of the pertinent information.
It is a nice big size measuring 11" tall, the rim has a of 6" diameter that narrows to a 13-3/4 circumference. The original display block measures 7-1/2 X 7-1/2 X 1-3/4" tall.
