On Lay-Away: Lynne Cyr - Outstanding 1920's bisque Grace Putman Bisque Bye-Lo Baby
An adorable 15" Bye-Lo baby from the 1920's. She has a perfect bisque head with no hairlines, chips or repairs. It is incised "Corp. by Grace Putman". The head has those adorable dimpling/bumps of a real newborn, light brown hair with matching brows, long painted upper and lower lashes, dainty brown sleep eyes set on a weighted rocker with the lid wax all intact, a broad nose with a splattering of freckles, accented nostrils, shapely painted lips and nice rosy cheeks.
She has her original cloth frog style body with the Bye Lo stamping (body has a little staining). The crier no longer works. She has her original celluloid hands which are perfect (so often the hands are damaged).
This sweet Baby comes with all the appropriate baby wear including old possibly original cotton diaper, a Vanta warming undergarment, long vintage crocheted booties, a pretty long satin slip/undershirt, a gorgeous very long embroidered pink satin gown with a beautiful matching overcoat and bonnet. Baby is just stunning! All in excellent condition.
She's as sweet as they get!
