This is a sweet vintage chromolithograph of a dog watching over chicks at their feeding bowl. It is titled at the bottom center "Faithful Guardian." At the lower left is "Copyright 1906 by Currier Boyce Co. Chicago." At the lower right is "The Gray Litho Co. New York & Chicago." The chromo has a decorative border that is part of the print. I don't see an artist's name.
It is in a dark wood frame with beading near the sight edge. It has glass, a dust cover with someone's name written on it, and a wire for hanging.
Size: The frame measures approximately 17 inches tall and 22 1/4 inches wide.
Condition: I note some scratches on the frame. The chromo has a slight wave at the top, visible at certain angles, and fairly common in these larger size chromolithographs.
