This is a larger vintage postcard, referred to as a Continental postcard, of a Saint Bernard dog. It is signed in the plate by the French artist Henry Vincent Anglade (1876-1956). Continental postcards are larger than regular vintage ones, measuring close to 6" by 4". According to the MetroPostcard website, they are called Continentals as they were popular in Europe as early as the 1920's. This size did not become popular in the United States until the 1970's.
It was not mailed. On the back is the title "Saint-Bernard" along with the logo of the publisher BD and the number 1109 Q. The full names of the publisher can be seen in the stamp area - Barre and Dayez of France.
Condition: I see no damage.
