This is a hand tinted print of a cherub or cupid playing a flute horn. It is signed in the plate by the 20th Century American artist H. A. Weiss. At the lower right is another signature of a Sadie Gray dated 08/30/1914. She may have been the one who added the color to the print. The print was produced by Gartner and Bender, a publisher in business from 1911 to 1918.
It is in a gold wood frame with glass, a cardboard backing, and a wire for hanging.
Size: The frame measures approximately 10 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" wide. The inside measurements on the back of the frame are approximately 8" by 6".
Condition: I see no damage to the print, just typical age toning to the paper. A few scratches to the frame.
