This listing is for a pair of mezzotints by the British artist George Morland (1763-1804). They are both family genre scenes. The one on the left is referred to as "The Farmer's Visit to His Daughter" and the one on the right as "The Visit Returned." A signature is not visible on either one.
They are in identical wood frames painted gold. They have glass, a dust cover, with a wire for hanging.
Size: Each frame measures 14" square.
Condition: No damage noted to the pair. The interior of the glass could use a cleaning as there are some specks of dust, but I have not examined these out of the frame.
