Leon Lippert Indian Maiden Calendar Print with Bird in Pie Crust Frame
This is a lovely vintage calendar print of an Indian Maiden referred to as "Confidences." She appears to be speaking to the bird she is holding. It is signed in the plate at the lower left by the American artist Leon Lippert (1863-1950).
She is in an attractive two tone blue and gold frame, with pie crust designs at the four corners. It has older glass, a cardboard backing, with a wire for hanging.
Size: The frame measures approximately 13 1/2" tall and 10 1/2" wide. The opening in the back measures approximately 12" by 9".
Condition: No damage noted on the calendar print. The frame shows several typical scratches, but remains solid.
