Postcard from 1940s of TWA Airplane Lockheed Constellation
This is a postcard with the image of "The Constellation in Flight." On the front it also says "Color-foto by TWA." TWA ceased operations in 2001 when they merged with American Airlines.
It was postmarked in 1944. It has "Free" written where the one cent stamp would go, so it may have been sent by a serviceman during the war. It has the TWA logo on the back, along with some information about the Lockheed Constellation. It also has "Litho in U.S.A. - 3-265, 11-43."
The postcard shows some surface wear and corner bumping.
Please email me if you would like to see any additional photos. I'm listing another postcard with an American Airlines plane.
