A very nice example of this primitive country form, this is a shelf with a Bonnet cutout top. The shelf unit is a nice size to fit any room or wall and is painted in a light grey, except for one end which must have been in a corner.
This form is a New England form and is more than likely from Massachusetts late 19th century. The shelf is in excellent condition.
