This is a really fun child's carousel ride in the form of a pig. The ride is wood with original yellow paint and touched park paint black features. We believe this to be a C. W. Parker ride and is from the early 1900's. The pig has a fun interesting look with a great curly tail and a mouth full of teeth holding an ear of corn. Yes pigs have teeth but they do not fly, teeth are removed when raised for butchering. This ride was found being used as a trade sign for a butcher shop in Detroit, MI.
The pig is 36" long and 20" high, 8" wide. We have mounted him on an iron stand that can be adjusted to 36" in height for floor display or 23" high for table top display. The pig is very sturdy with some wear and joint cracks in the paint that do not affect it's structure.
