A wonderful old lighted two sided tin can sign with Milk Glass letters. The sign is shaped with scalloped sides and has an amazing look. The sign is lighted inside and the light shows through the milk glass letters and the fancy border is also milk glass with paint applied.. This sign is from the early 1900's and was found in New Jersey. The tin can is in very good condition, solid with iron hangers at each end. The bright color paint appears to be original with some old touch up spots and has a old surface. Very nicely cut out letters, note the inside portion of the letters like the O have delicately cut out centers. A true crafts-person make this sign, this sign dates to the very early 1900's.
We have completely rewired the sign with new sockets and cord, it also has a remote wireless on off switch. One piece of milk glass had to be replace but we used old milk glass to match.
The sign is very workable size, 46" long including the hangers. The sign itself is 42" long x 21 1/4" tall and 6 1/2" deep. Amazing condition.
