A very nice example of a cast iron Victorian Era elevator dial. These were hung on each floor to indicate which floor the elevator was currently on. These were used in very fancy buildings.
The dial is 20 1/4" in diameter and 1" thick stands out from the wall 3 1/2". We have constructed a wall mount for easy displaying of the dial. It is in as found condition with some surface rusting. The back shows that the building was painted after this was installed as there are paint drips on the back. Found in Ohio and weighs in at 17 lbs.
