For your consideration, I offer this pretty green and clear pattern glass oil lamp which was made circa late 1880s-1890s by the Riverside Glass Co. It is known as Riverside Panel. The company was located in Wellsburg, W. Va. Examples are shown in the first volume of Catherine Thuro's books: Oil Lamps: The Kerosene Era in North America. The panel pattern on the font is a simple one, but very attractive. The glass is good quality and is sparkling clear are most all of Riverside lamps and the light green color is very nice. It reminds me of a fresh spring day with new green growth poking through. The top of the foot is concave, which accents the pattern molded in the glass as it is on the underside. The stem is vertically paneled. The lamp retains the original clinch type collar that Riverside used. It has early 1880s patent dates embossed on the top of the collar. It is a no. 1 size which has a 7/8 inch opening for the threaded burner. The burner is a replacement. It is a very heavy quality brass which was made over twenty years ago by B & P. It has the original unused wick that came with the burner. Back when B&P came out with these burners, they made a mistake and embossed the burners with a "no. 2", but they are actually no. 1 size. I believe the chimney is also a replacement but not a recent one. There are no chips or cracks. The lamp will be double boxed for save transit. Choose either of the two methods I offer.
