For your consideration, I offer two miniature oil lamp shades, circa 1900. These little shades are the ones that came on a miniature Glow Lamp. Many of the bases have the name stamped on the bases. They came in several colors but this pair is white. Examples may be found in the first Frank & Ruth Smith Miniature Oil Lamps, Figure 625 plus other pictures and variations in the books. These little shades are approximately three inches tall and the bottom fitters about one and one-eighth inches o.d. These have a melon ribbed pattern molded in the glass be each is slightly different. One has ten melon ribs and the bottom inside of the fitter has two raised elongated cog sections that would lock on the neck of the base with a half turn. The other shade is just a hair shorter overall and has twelve vertical ribs and the raised locking cogs on the bottom consist of three raised round circles. They are both old and original. The top and bottom rims are both factory rough ground. There are no cracks. Price is for the pair. Check my shop for other items of interest and send an email if you have any questions.
