For your consideration, I offer a Plume & Atwood No. 2 lip kerosene oil burner and large lip chimney. Both pieces, although undated are from the fourth quarter of the 19th century. The no. 2 screw thread fitter on the bottom of the burner is 1 3/16 inch. The burner has a screw and two small tabs folded to the inside of the gallery. The chimney slips under the tabs and then is tightened with the screw. This enables the gallery top to be flipped open so the wick could be trimmed without removing the chimney. No wick was in the lamp but the wick wheel works freely. The wick wheel is embossed" The P&A Mfg. Co.". I have not cleaned the burner. The chimney has the standard size No. 2 fitter, 2 5/8 inches. It os 8 1/8 inches tall. This hand tooled chimney has a wide bulge which is about 4 inches o.d. The glass has good clarity and no chips or cracks. According to the MacBeth booklet on chimneys and fitters, this size burner could be any of these three: Regulator no. 2; Sun Hinge no. 2 or Unique No. 2. They will be securely packaged for safe transit. Check my shop for other items of interest. Orders will be combined if possible to save on transit costs should you find more than one item.
