For your consideration, I offer a circa 1870s-1880s hand blown and tooled petal top lip chimney for an oil lamp. This chimney has eighteen hand tooled petals on the top. This type of chimney with a base that flares out, is made to fit in a lip burner that holds the chimney in with a thumb screw. It enables the user to both stabilize the chimney in the burner and often to flip open a hinged lip burner to trim the wick without removing the chimney. This is a very graceful chimney with very good clarity. The fitter rim measures 2 5/16 inches and is 7 5/8 inches tall. From the bottom up, the inside pinch above the flare is 2 1/8 inches o.d.; the bulge at the widest part is about 3 1/2 inches o.d.; the narrowest part of the neck is 1 5/8 inches o.d. The rims are smooth and fire polished. I could feel a tiny nick in one spot on the lower rim when I ran my finger around it but I could not see it. Please send me an email if you have any questions. I do combine items where possible if you find other things in my shop you wish to purchase at the same time. In this case, please do not pay for your purchase orders until I can package them together and revise the transit costs which should be lower. Note: For International transit,, there is no USPS insurance for First Class Package. If you wish another method, contact me
