For your pleasure I offer an unusual small brass picture frame that has been in my possession for many, many years. It is a quality frame but I could find no signature. I believe it dates from the first half of the 20th century, possibly Art Deco period. It is heavy brass and the outside measurements are six and three-quarters inches long and five inches wide. The top inside front opening is five and one-quarter long and three and three-quarters wide. The depth of the frame for the picture is three-eights inch. The leaf and berry decoration is just charming and although not a holly leaf, would be very suited to a Christmas or other special photograph or picture. There are tiny little holes that pierce around the ledge in a few places to securely hold the photo or picture in place with plenty of room for the mounting material. Please send an email if you have any questions and check my shop for other items of interest.
