For your pleasure, I offer a very popular children's book from the series called Chatterbox. This is the American Publication by L. C. Page, Boston and this is a first impression printed by C.H. Simmons, Boston. The book consists of 316 numbered pages plus a few unnumbered front and back. It has eight full page brightly colored illustrations and numbers black and white, some full page and many scattered throughout. It measures ten inches by seven and and is one and one-quarter inches thick. It has heavy board covers with tip-ins on both. The tip-in on the cover is a little chipped on one side as shown and corners are bumped from use over the years. The binding is all intact and holds well. As I leafed through the pages, finding only one with a tear, I noticed that some child of long ago had pressed some leaves and also a few Christmas tree needles into a few of the pages. I left them there because I thought they were just charming. There is no foxing and the only discoloration of note is where the leaves were pressed. Check my shop for other items of interest and contact me via email if you have any questions.23
