For your consideration, I offer a set of four Victorian era plated brackets with sulphide flowers, also called sulfide. wall mount hooks. At first I thought these might be curtain tie backs, but I think they are more likely picture frame hooks or possibly just fancy Victorian wall brackets such as a bell pull might be mounted on. There are four of these and I believe they are circa 1890s. They are a silver color plating over brass. To me they looks like what is called German silver, which is not actual silver, but I am not an expert in this type of plating. Each pieces measures 3 3/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The design in the center of the wall mount is similar to the sulphide flower of the hook. The hook protrudes from the wall 2 inches to the sulphide flower. This sulphide treatment is similar to what you may see in a fancy paperweight or marble. The decorate item is encased in glass. Each of these is circular, measuring 3/4 inch. Except for some tarnish over the years, they are in good condition. Price is for the group of four..
