Eileen White Antiques and Lighting
is now SOLDFor your pleasure, I offer this extremely petite late 19th century white milk glass smoke bell which has a deep rose color applied edge. I have not had one quite this color. Perhaps it was called cranberry but to me it has more pink in it. The bell is only 3 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches tall. It has the old tin cap and ring on the top. Most of these smoke bells were used on Victorian hanging parlor lamps. One this size would be a great addition to a smaller size hanging lamp. Some cast iron and brass fixtures came in a ten inch shade size, but the bell could also be used with a regular size fixture, either oil or gas. There are no chips or cracks. Check my shop for other items of interest. I combine orders where possible to save on transit costs.
