For your consideration, I offer this circa late 1880s-1890s hand painted shade. The background color is a light blue-green, not aqua but slightly more soft green. The painted floral and leaf pattern of strong red and blue fuchsia with green shaded leaves wraps around the center of the shade almost touching where it ends.
The shade was made for a Victorian era kerosene oil lamp and could be used on many styles of table lamps, metal or glass as well as a large 10" shade fitter student lamp.
Measurements are: 10 inch fitter; 5 1/4 inches tall; 3 5/8 inches top o.d. Except for one small surface flat nick on the top outside of the rim, shown with a little black arrow in the picture of the rim (on the painted edge) and a black speck just above the gold trim of the neck, the lamp is in good condition with strong color and no cracks. I will double box with plenty of wrapping for secure transit.
Please take a moment to check my other shop listings. I combine orders where possible to save on transit costs. Send an email with any questions. .
