This antique dresser jar with sterling silver top is a beautiful piece to display as well as utilize! The base is clear with typical burst design cut into the bottom. The sterling silver top is engraved with feathery design, the center having a monogram letter “B” in Old English script.
The rim of the top has the marker’s mark (unidentified), the word “sterling” followed by the numbers 4100-4.
The dresser jar is 3 inches high and 4 ½ inches at the widest with the opening measuring 21/2 inches. The jar and lid are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Circa 1900.
