This vintage sterling silver bracelet is designed to resemble a belt. What fun! The “buckle” and loop are 18K gold. The bracelet is hinged in the back and actually can be varied in size as it slides just like a belt, the buckle doubles as a lock. It is most unusual, a real conversation piece.
The bracelet adjusts from 2 3/8 inches to 2 ¾ inches closed but the hinge allows it to open completely to put on.
The bracelet back reads as follows: Mexico then indiscernible maker’s marks followed by the number 925.
The bracelet is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Circa 1950’s-1960’s.
