This antique sterling silver serving spoon boasts beautiful form as well as usefulness. There are no manufacturers marks, but the design is exceptional. The bowl is scalloped around the edge with the body of the bowl in curved lines that resembles a shell. The handle has detailed scroll work and a monogram of a letter “W” in Old English script.
The spoon is 9 “ long and 2 ½ “ across the generous bowl.
The back of the spoon has the words “Shreve, Crump & Lowes”.
The spoon is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
