Mil Lubroth Abstract Expressionist Original Art Painting by Listed Polish Female Artist. This mixed media original painting is signed as shown as well as some additional pencil inscriptions along the rear of the painting. This captivating painting has its original mat board and measures approximately 38" x 30" with actual painting measuring 29" x 22".
This original mixed media abstract oil painting by listed female artist Mil Lubroth dates from the 1950s' -1960's. The Artist Mil Lubroth was an American born artist that had moved to Spain to study art. She was a Fulbright scholar born Millie Schleifer, Mil Lubroth was influenced by the whimsical work of Paul Klee as well as by Robert Rauschenberg and Cy Twombly having lived in Paris and then moving with her husband to Madrid where she raised her four children. Mil Lubroth was the first North American Woman to exhibit at Madrid’s Cultural Center and her work also showed in Seville, Granada, Barcelona and New York.
