These squeaker toys were made in Germany in the 1920's-30's for the American market to be used at Halloween. This one features a semi-evil looking clown made of thick cardboard, mounted on a stick with a small bellow behind his head. When you shake it the bellows force air through the squeaker in his mouth. This one is in perfect working order and squeaks well.

This clown squeaker measures 8 3/4" in total length, the head measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". There is some paper loss around the very edges of the head but no separation of the cardboard. The original color is strong. It appears the stick may have fallen off and been re-glued slightly off center, but it does not affect the noise making capability. The paper bellows are in good shape with no holes or paper separation.
