This is a beautiful bracelet measuring 7" in length and 1 1/4" in width made sometime in the 1920's - 1930's. It is marked on the back "Mexico Silver." It tests for me as Sterling Silver, but I am not 100 percent certain. It has not been cleaned and though there is a bit of patina build up, there is nothing that would indicate that it was anything less than 925 silver.
This panel bracelet features 10 curved panels connected with alternating discs of plain silver, and silver discs with bezel set amethyst half rounds. The amethyst shows wear to the surface and has lost much of its shine. I believe they can be polished up fairly easily. The round nearest the clasp has a 1/8" chip down by the bezel. It is not particularly noticeable, but it is there. The clasp is a simple hook that is completely hidden and somewhat difficult to find when you want to take it off.
You really don't see the beauty in this bracelet until you put it on your wrist. The 1 1/4" width really gives the appearance of old world elegance. This bracelet is flexible enough to mold itself to your lower wrist or upper wrist depending on how it is worn and is actually quite comfortable.
The total weight of the bracelet is 61 grams or 2.15 ounces
