This is a lovely Parrot fur clip/pin/brooch made by Coro Craft in the 1940's. The brooch is marked Coro Craft and Sterling on the back side and features a gold was that shows little to no wear. The parrot is beautiful with detailed, hand painted enamels and pave set rhinestones that are clear and sparkly.
Unlike the similar Parrot Duette made by Coro, This parrot sits on a longer branch and has long green enamel and rhinestone leaves behind it. It was meant to be a single fur clip/brooch and is not a duette segment that lost is mate.
The brooch measures 2 1/2" in width and 2 1/4" in height. The back pin clips is in perfect working order and overall the piece is in excellent condition.
