This little Victorian patch box measures 2 inches in diameter and 7/8 in thickness. It is domed black glass with white painted floral enamel. There are a few minor, short scratches on the glass surface but not on the enamel.
It is silver plate with gold accent on the rims of both the glass and the box with clear hallmarks on the inside bottom. The top reads I.M in triangular brackets. Under that is TI3 (or T13, hard to tell), and lower down are the numbers 3684.
There are a couple of tiny dings to the silver plate but all in all very nice condition for its age. The hinge is strong and the lid snaps open and closed just like its supposed to.
I purchased it several years ago in southern Germany and was told it was Bohemian glass. It could be, but I don't know for sure.
