This little Victorian patch box or pill box measures 2" in diameter and 7/8" in thickness. It is domed black glass with white floral enamel. There are a few minor, short scratches on the glass surface but not on the enamel. Very much like Mary Gregory style.
It is silver plate with gold accent on the rims of both the glass and the box with clear hallmarks on the inside bottom. The top reads I.M in triangular brackets. Under that is TI3 (or T13, hard to tell), and lower down are the numbers 3684.
There are a couple of tiny dings to the silver plate but all in all very nice condition for its age. The hinge is strong and the lid snaps open and closed just like its supposed to.
