Edgar Starr was a Disney Studio artist for approx. 20 years; he studied with Millard Sheets at the Chouinard School art along with many other artists of the California Scene painters of the day, and made several trips with Sheets to Mexico. He exhibited and painted throughout the 1930's and 40's. His works seem to be hard to come across, and this is the first one I have ever acquired. The painting is beautiful and bright, and in excellent condition. The framing is a simple white matte and thin frame, complimenting the piece. The painting size is 15x22 without frame.
