Pretty vintage cottage china. Pink rims, flowered centers, and lacy gold trim of flower swags. Cottage china was the term used in the 1920s and 1930s to describe pretty china that was not fine china, used for everyday, and until a full set of fine china could be purchased over time, setting by setting. There are four dinner or luncheon plates measuring 10 inches, and a fifth with a very shallow back chip, four salad or dessert or tea plates measuring seven and three eighth inches, two flat bowls that can be used for serving vegetables measuring 7.75 inches, and an oval platter measuring eleven and five eighths x eight and five eighths inches. A few crazing lines on a few pieces, but otherwise, all is well besides the aforementioned small back chip on one plate. SO pretty.
This is not only a heavy item, but large, so the box will be oversized according to Post Office limits, and thus will be costly to ship to destinations far West or South of my Northeast location. Shipping cost shown is actual cost only, but will rise sharply after the midpoint of the country due to the oversize charge. I will of course combine multiple item purchases for actual cost only shipping, by combined weight.
