We do have a broad base of regular and return customers who check our site daily for new listings, and buy quickly. In fairness to both our customers and to us, we require that single-item purchases be paid for immediately by clicking the Pay Now icon or button as prompted by Ruby Lane when you make your purchase order, or (for combined purchases in which we need to adjust the shipping cost for multiple items packed together) shortly after the combined invoice is sent. This is especially important for those items that have just been listed the same day. We will then ship your item or items right out to you, and mark these items as Sold. We cannot hold single items unless prior arrangements have been made, and will return them to sale for everyone to have a chance, if payment does not accompany the order.

I am happy to combine purchases for actual cost only shipping. The site cannot accurately combine shipping for multiple items, please be assured that I always refund excess shipping to the penny. You can also submit your multiple item order, without paying, and I will adjust the shipping to reflect the actual cost based on package combined weight and size and send the adjusted invoice.

Buyer pays for actual cost shipping - we do not charge for handling, and insurance is included in the shipping cost. Should a package of combined purchases shipped together cost less to ship than anticipated, we immediately refund the difference once we have shipped and have the correct amount in hand.
