Set of silver plated flatware, grille or luncheon service for 12 minus one dinner or luncheon fork in the Reverie pattern, 1937, Nobility Plate line, Oneida Silver. Streamlined Art Deco style. The knives and dinner or luncheon forks have the elongated handles and shorter business ends popular in this period. They can certainly be used for dinner but were originally used for luncheon. There are 12 five piece piece place settings, minus that fork, and 5 serving pieces, for a total of 65 pieces. Place settings consist of a dinner or luncheon knife, dinner or luncheon fork, salad fork, 6 and one eighth inch gumbo or cream soup spoon, and teaspoon.
Two of the gumbo or cream soup spoons have a small corrosion mark as shown. Otherwise, good previously owned and used condition, no wear through of plating, juts light, even contact brushing consistent with age, use, and cleaning. The box smells a bit musty and could use a good airing out, but is sound. If you do not need or want the box, I can ship the flatware alone for 15.05. Please let me know in the message portion, and I will refund excess postage.
